Still feeling blue
These paintings come from a foggy place within myself. All of this emotional healing left me feeling complicated and burnt out. As a result, I was still feeling blue.
I began to add more colors to my palette. Yellows, pinks. The clouds sweep across the canvas.

Save Yourself! - Sometimes, we find ourselves in a situation where it seems like there’s nowhere else to go. Sometimes, we feel obligated to help someone unwilling to help themselves, and when that happens, we have a choice. Either we falter at our expense, or we can save ourselves. Sometimes, it feels like jumping into an abyss with a parachute, but you have to trust yourself to be able to manage the obstacles ahead. You can navigate this life, and experience a world outside of what has held you back.

Healing Ink - A reminder to stay true to yourself. This dark, inky painting was made with the idea that light shines through us all, even through hard times. UV luminescent hot pink shines through inky indigo clouds.

Watercolor Sky - This painting was inspired by a photograph from Chuck Gentlie, who takes beautiful pictures of trails in the Saguaro National Forest in Tucson.

Golden Hour - Inspired by a photograph, this painting shows that moment of dusk where the clouds swallow the light of day.

Dusty Blue - From a place of total mellow, this painting gives cool winter day, and foggy sunrise vibes. I'm reminded of living in Seattle.

Blue Angel - This painting reminds me of daydreaming while watching the clouds go by, beautiful images coming and going.

Turbulence of Thought - Anxiousness toils inside me like clouds on a monsoon day. Turbulence of Thought features thunderheads billowing up high, reflecting hot pink sunrays, and saguaro cactuses standing tall in the foreground.
