The Blues of my Oblivion - Original Painting
Monsoon Thunderheads toil and roll, so full they could burst, and with a low rumble, rain falls over the desert like a warm blanket. A spark of lightning at the edge. The darkness is vast, and the stars go on. The clouds change and evolve just as my thoughts and emotions ruminate. It took 4 months to make this! The Blues of My Oblivion is full of depth and detail. It’s a visual representation of my dreams. I always thought I dreamed of night scenes, but as it turns out, I have aphantasia!

Hi, I'm Steph! I'm an acrylic artist based out of Berlin, Germany. These dreamy landscapes come from my memories of growing up in Arizona. I see lots of colors in the desert. At times the sun's glow can seem fluorescent. When I put this on a canvas, it’s more like I paint a feeling, rather than the image itself.
Colors of the art in these photos may be slightly different from how they appear in real life. Sometimes adjustments are needed to make the picture as close to the original as possible.
All paintings come varnished unless otherwise stated.
