When I made this painting, I was in the process of an emotional recovery. It was as if a monsoon had come through my soul to sweep the darkness away. That’s why I love this piece. It reminds me that the sun will shine again tomorrow, and quenched flowers will bloom.

Hi, I'm Steph! I'm an acrylic artist based in Berlin, Germany. These dreamy landscapes come from my memories of growing up in Arizona. I see lots of colors in the desert, and at times, the sun's glow can seem fluorescent. When I put this on a canvas, it’s more like I paint a feeling, rather than the image itself.
Colors of the art in these photos may be slightly different from how they appear in real life. Sometimes adjustments are needed to make the picture as close to the original as possible.
All paintings come varnished unless otherwise stated.
